She worked in private practice and in the public sector before joining Beechler Tomberlin. Ali has experience in a broad range of education, business, construction, and employment law matters, including serving as General Counsel to one of the largest school districts in North Carolina and managing the Human Resources Department for an employer with more than 8,000 employees.  In her own words, Ali describes her interest in joining the Board, “The CLC has an important place in our community. I’ve been watching from the sidelines for years and I am excited to join the board at a time when the organization is growing, both geographically and in terms of its mission.“
