Isabel Alele
Isabel Alele received her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and her B.A. in Philosophy from Covenant College. As an undergraduate student, Isabel received multiple scholarships and was on the Dean’s List for several semesters. She also participated in a philosophy conference for undergraduate students where she chaired a session and presented a paper.
During law school, Isabel enjoyed developing her diverse range of interests. She interned for the National Center on Protection Orders and Full Faith & Credit, researching domestic violence, the Violence Against Women’s Act, and the interstate enforcement of protection orders. She also interned at the North Carolina Department of Commerce within the Industrial Commission where she conducted legal research on employee misclassification and assisted with the Employee Classification Section’s annual report to the governor.
After graduating from law school, Isabel began working as a law clerk at Beechler Tomberlin. She assisted in cases dealing with education law and employment discrimination. She also worked as a law clerk for Whitestone Construction Group, conducting legal research and writing memoranda on various construction law and employment law issues. Isabel joined Beechler Tomberlin as an associate in September 2018.
